Research Interest:

His notable conference papers are on the Media, Transitional Justice and War Crimes Jurisprudence (2012 and 2013), the Nexus Between Conflict Prevention and Democratic Good Governance in Sierra Leone (2013), the Future of Legal Education in Ghana/Africa (2021), ECOWAS Zero Tolerance Policy for Unconstitutional Change of Government in West Africa (2023) etc. His publications span between law and communications media, the most notable being Media Reporting of War Crimes Trials and Civil Society Responses in Post-Conflict Sierra Leone (2015) and the Media’s Coverage of a Sierra Leone War Crimes Trial: A Continuation of Conflict by Other Means (2016). He holds a Bachelor of Laws Degree with Honours (USL), a Barrister-at-Law Degree (SLLS), a Master’s Degree in Public Administration and Management (NU), a Master of Philosophy Degree in communications law and policy (USL) and a Doctor of Philosophy Degree in Media and War Crimes Jurisprudence (University of Bedfordshire, England). He is also a Doctoral Candidate in Law Studies at the pre-submission stage (University of Sussex, Brighton, England). His vast research interests span across political philosophy/jurisprudence, international law/relations, constitutionalism and human rights, and mediated communication.
